Audio Fingerprinting & Content Protection

Fingerprint your audio before release — a timestamped, tamper-evident record of your exact track for copyright protection, theft disputes, and royalties.

Audio Fingerprinting & Content Protection

Generate a unique digital fingerprint for every track — a permanent, verifiable record of your audio for copyright protection and royalty tracking.

A tamper-evident record of your exact audio

When you fingerprint a track in the Creation Studio, Rthyms computes a cryptographic hash (SHA-256) of the exact audio file. Change even one sample and the fingerprint changes completely — so the record proves precisely which file is yours, unaltered.

Timestamped from the moment you fingerprint

Every fingerprint is stored with the date and time it was generated, giving you a dated record that this exact recording existed in your hands at that moment.

Evidence when theft or a dispute comes up

If someone re-uploads or claims your work, a timestamped fingerprint of your original file — alongside the ISRC/ISWC codes, writers, and ownership splits in your Copyright Registry — gives you concrete, verifiable evidence instead of a word-against-word dispute.

Built into release preparation

Fingerprinting lives in the Creation Studio's release-preparation flow next to metadata and artwork, so protecting a track is a one-click step on the way to distribution — not a separate paid service.

Pairs with Sound DNA

Sound DNA analyzes the music itself — a musical fingerprint of sonic character and listener intelligence — complementing the cryptographic fingerprint that protects the file.

Who it's for

Independent artists, producers, and labels who want a verifiable ownership trail for every release without paying for a separate content-protection service.
